Vanessa Ray for HollywoodLife — Vanessa Ray currently stars in the CBS police drama Blue Bloods as Officer Edit “Eddie” Janko, who is married to Jamie Reagan and a fan-favorite. The show is now in its 10th season & airs Fridays at 9 PM ET. Throughout this season, we see Vanessa’s Eddie and her new husband Jamie navigate life as newlyweds, while also balancing their work life as a police officer and detective.

Vanessa also appeared in ABC Family’s hit show Pretty Little Liars as another fan-fave, CeCe Drake. She starred on the popular USA Network series Suits as Jenny, the ex-girlfriend and love interest of both Trevor Evans and Mike Ross. She’s also no stranger to the stage, starring in the the Broadway production of Hair, in the role of Crissy.

So, to be with somebody who she doesn’t have to do that with is new to her, and I think there are some times when she resents how lucky the Reagan’s are to have the life that they have. I think it’s difficult sometimes for her to not say everything she wants to say because she has to hold her tongue a lot of the time. She doesn’t relate to them. She doesn’t come from their world at all.”

How Eddie & Jamie Feel About Starting A Family — “They fell in love being equals, being partners, and then one or both of them would have to step back from a bit of their career that they love so much. They love their jobs. I think it’s an interesting thing that we’re exploring there. There are days where they say, ‘Yes, of course we’re going to start a family.’ And then there’s days where she goes, ‘I don’t think I could give this up so casually. I’m not sure that I’m ready to do that.'”

What other sources of creativity can you pull from?”
