Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens’ Most Romantic Moments — Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens first met while they were auditioning for ‘High School Musical.’ They were paired together during a ‘mix and match’ portion of the audition process, and had immediate chemistry. Eventually, they were both cast in the leading roles of Troy and Gabriella in the Disney Channel movie. The pair began dating while filming in 2005, and were together for five years before splitting up in 2010. In addition to the original ‘High School Musical,’ they both also starred in a sequel, as well as a third movie that was released in theaters called ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year.’ Although Zac and Vanessa have both definitely moved on in the many years since their split, fans are still reminiscent of their love, and many still even hold out hope that they’ll end up together.
