The United States Women’s National Team is preparing to compete for the gold at the Tokyo Olympics. See photos of the superstar athletes!

U.S. Women’s Soccer Team

U.S. Women’s Soccer Team — They shoot — and they score! The U.S. women’s national soccer team has been incredibly successful over the years. In total, they’ve won four Women’s World Cups and eight CONCACAF Gold Cups. They’ve also won a medal during every single Olympic tournament they’ve competed in, aside from 2016 when they were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. They’ve won four Olympic gold medals in 1996, 2004, 2008, and most recently, 2012. They’re going for the gold again at the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Currently, the USWNT is head coached by Vlatko Andonovski. Their current lineup consists of Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, Christen Press, Emily Sonnett, Casey Krueger, Rose Lavelle, Lynn Williams, Kelley O’Hara and more.
