When Michael Strahan announced that he was leaving ‘Live With Kelly & Michael’ in April 2016 for a full-time role on ‘Good Morning America,’ everyone was shocked. Kelly was reportedly blindsided by the news. The drama turned up a notch when Kelly Ripa was noticeably absent from her co-host chair for a few days after Michael’s announcement. She returned and said she needed a ‘couple of days to gather my thoughts’ about the situation. She congratulated Michael on his new gig. Michael was initially supposed to stay through the summer on ‘Live,’ but his final day as co-host was moved up to May. Ryan Seacrest eventually replaced Michael as Kelly’s co-host.

It was reported for years that Naya Rivera and Lea Michele, who played Santana and Rachel, did not get along on the set of ‘Glee.’ In Naya’s 2016 memoir, ‘Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up,’ the actress wrote that she thought Lea ‘didn’t like sharing the spotlight’ with her. During an appearance on ‘WWHL’ in 2019, Naya denied feuding with Lea. ‘I don’t think there was like any beef,’ she said. Naya passed away at the age of 33 in July 2020 after a boating accident.

The four co-stars had a mini-reunion of sorts in April 2020 when they called into ‘The Bradshaw Boys’ podcast to thank healthcare workers on the frontlines during the coronavirus pandemic.
