Tommy was born on May 13, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating high school, she packed her bags and headed to New York for college, where she enrolled at Fordham University. Tommy studied drama, earning her B.A. in Theatre Arts in 2015. Shortly after, she was cast as Ryan in Netflix’s popular teen drama ’13 Reasons Why’ and most recently appeared in Freeform’s mini-series ‘Love In The Time Of Corona.’

Off-screen, Tommy is a cousin of former ‘Bachelorette’ star, attorney Andi Dorfman and known as one of Kaia Gerber’s best friends. In July 2021, Tommy came out as a trans woman and showed off her transition in an interview with ‘Time’. Nearly one year later, she confirmed that she was engaged to a woman (unidentified) following her divorce from her ex-hubsand. Click through the gallery to see more photos of Tommy.
