T.J. House was a professional baseball player for over a decade. He was drafted by the then-Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) right out of high school, and he started playing minor league ball in 2009. He played for a few different minor league teams in Class A and AAA leagues before he was brought up to the MLB in 2014 to pitch for the Indians. He finished his debut season with a 5-3 record, but the following year, his play was limited due to a shoulder injury. The following year, he also only played four games and became a free agent, before signing with the Toronto Blue Jays. After a season with the Blue Jays, he became a free agent again, when he signed with the Chicago White Sox. He bounced around a few more minor league teams until 2020, when he retired and became a real estate agent.
