The Minnesota-born beauty started as a model before pivoting to acting in the early 60s after Hitchcock discovered her on the set of a commercial. From there she went on to appear in over 80 films and television shows, including the psychological drama Marnie, the political satire Citizen Ruth, the absurdist comedy I Heart Huckabees, and more.
In addition to her acting career, Tippi is a wildlife advocate, whose non-profit the Roar Foundation supports the Shambala Preserve, an 80-acre wildlife habitat for big cats in Southern California.
