Lance Reddick died at 60-years-old. He was found in his Studio City area home on Friday, March 17. A cause of death has not been determined. Besides his role as Cedric Daniels in ‘The Wire,’ he was also Charon in the ‘John Wick’ franchise.
Airing from 2002 to 2008, ‘The Wire’ was one of the most beloved and critically-acclaimed series on HBO. The crime drama focused on crime and the legal system in Baltimore, reaching so many viewers over the course of its five seasons. The show was a massive hit, even earning two primetime Emmy nominations. It continues to be adored by fans who watched it’s original airing and are newly discovering it.
