Whoopie Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Meghan McCain — ‘The View’ was created in 1997 by renowned journalist Barbara Walters as an outlet for women to discuss various topics ranging from politics to popular culture. The show was also offered as a platform for various celebrities, politicians and public figures to discuss issues pertinent to the show with the hosts, all in the name of each woman offering their individual open and respecting those of their cohosts. This season, the show is celebrating its most-watched season in four years. ‘The View’ returned for Season 22 with a new co-host, the hottest topics, headline-making conversations, politics, pop culture, celebrity guests and newsmakers. Abby Huntsman was named the latest co-host to the show, joining the panel of smart and talented women led by moderator Whoopi Goldberg with Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain. It’s been an incredible series to watch grow and change over it’s 22-year run, and how the voices and topics change.
