The Thing About Pam: Photos. — ‘The Thing About Pam’ is a new true-crime limited series premiering March 8 on NBC. It stars Oscar winner Renee Zellweger as convicted killer Pam Hupp. The show follows the sage behind the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria. Though her husband Russ was initially convicted, he was later exonerated, setting off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp. The series also stars Judy Greer as Leah Askey, Josh Duhamel as Joel Schwartz, Katy Mixon as Betsy Faria and Glenn Fleshler as Russ Faria.

Renee is the show’s lead star and also an executive producer, alongside Jenny Klein, Jason Blum, and Carmella Casinelli. And she made quite the transformation for the series. “It was a team of magicians,” Renee told ‘Variety’ of the makeup team. “What they’re capable of is pretty miraculous.”
