The Sandman

The Sandman — ‘The Sandman’ is Netflix’s television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s fantasy comic book series. The show stars Tom Sturridge as Dream/Morpheus, the king of dreams and ruler of the Dreaming. Dream is one of the seven Endless, who are played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, and Donna Preston. Gwendoline Christie plays Lucifer, Boyd Holbrook plays Corinthian, and Jenna Coleman plays detective Johanna Constantine. The show follows Dream/Morpheus escaping after 106 years in captivity and trying to restore order to his kingdom.

‘The Sandman’ will premiere August 5 with ten episodes. It’s one of Netflix’s most highly-anticipated releases in the second half of 2022. The trailer was released at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
