‘The Gilded Age’ Cast

‘The Gilded Age’ Cast — A new era. ‘The Gilded Age’ is a period drama series set to premiere on HBO on Jan. 24. The opulent series was created by ‘Downton Abbey’s Julian Fellowes, and will evoke the same historic charm as the other beloved period piece. ‘The Gilded Age’ will follow the boom years of 1880s New York City, where money was free-flowing as modern industry began to take hold. Promising a talent-packed ensemble, the show features a star-studded cast of Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Taissa Farmiga, Harry Richardson, Simon Jones, and more.

‘The Gilded Age’ has been in development since 2012 and was given a series order by HBO in May 2019, making it a highly anticipated affair. Still, there were more hurdles as COVID-19-related delays, pushed production back to Feb. 2021. Filming took place in Rhode Island and New York.
