‘The Dukes of Hazzard’

‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ — ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ was a classic comedy show in the 1970s and 80s! During its run from 1979 to 1985, viewers would tune in weekly to see the misadventures of the Duke family, including Luke (Tom Wopat), Bo (John Schneider), and Daisy (Catherine Bach). The show also saw the family’s run-ins with the other locals in their town, including Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane (James Best) and Boss Hogg (Sorrell Brooke). While the characters were all incredibly memorable, one of the other most iconic pieces from the show included the family’s Dodger Charger, which they nicknamed ‘The General Lee.’

The show finished its run in 1985, but the Dukes reunited in 1997 for the TV movies ‘The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion’ and then another ‘The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood’ in 2000. The show also went on to be rebooted in 2005 with a movie, starring Jessica Simpson, Johnny Knoxville, and Seann William Scott.
