‘The Challenge: USA’ Season 2

‘The Challenge: USA’ Season 2 — ‘The Challenge: USA’ is returning for a second season on Aug. 10, 2023 on CBS! T.J. Lavin is returning to host the series, which is a spin-off of MTV’s ‘The Challenge.’ This time around, six veteran competitors from MTV’s flagship show will join players from CBS shows, ‘Survivor,’ ‘Big Brother’ and ‘The Amazing Race,’ to make up the cast. One man and one woman will be named winners of the season, earning a $500,000 prize.

Season 2 of ‘The Challenge: USA’ will premiere at 10:00 p.m. on Aug. 10 on CBS, with a second part to the premiere coming on Aug. 13. For the first three weeks, the show will air two episodes a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Beginning Aug. 31, it will stick to a steady Thursday 10:00 p.m. time slot.

Some notable cast members on this season include Johnny “Bananas” DeVananzio and Wes Bergmann, as well as ‘Survivor’ winners Michele Fitzgerald and Chris Underwood. Keep scrolling through the gallery to see who’s in the cast this season!

Tori Deal

Tori Deal — Tori Deal has competed on seven seasons of ‘The Challenge’ on MTV. She won the show for the first time during its most recent season, ‘Ride or Dies,’ in 2023.

Tyler Crispen

Tyler Crispen — Tyler Crispen will be making his debut on ‘The Challenge’ after previously competing on ‘Big Brother.’ He was on seasons 20 and 22 (All Stars) of ‘Big Brother’ in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Tyler came in second place on his first season and sixth place during his return.

Tiffany Mitchell

Tiffany Mitchell — Tiffany Mitchell was previously a contestant on season 23 of ‘Big Brother’ in 2021, where she came in sixth place, but was voted America’s Favorite Houseguest. This will be her first time on ‘The Challenge.’

Paulie Calafiore

Paulie Calafiore — Paulie Calafiore was originally a contestant on ‘Big Brother,’ coming in 8th place on the show’s 18th season. He then began competing on MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ in 2018. Paulie appeared on 3 seasons of ‘The Challenge’ and made two finals.

Sebastian Noel

Sebastian Noel — Sebastian Noel is a ‘Challenge’ rookie hailing from ‘Survivor.’ He was on season 36, ‘Survivor: Ghost Island,’ and came in sixth place.

Monte Taylor

Monte Taylor — Monte Taylor was the runner-up on season 24 of ‘Big Brother’ in 2022. He will be making his debut on ‘The Challenge’ during season 2 of ‘The Challenge: USA.’

Michaela Bradshaw

Michaela Bradshaw — Michaela Bradshaw was on seasons 33 and 34 of ‘Survivor.’ Although she came in 14th place and 7th place, respectively, she made a name for herself due to her no-nonsense attitude and vibrant personality. Michaela also competed on season 37 of ‘The Challenge,’ but was the first eliminated.

Jonna Mannion (Stephens)

Jonna Mannion (Stephens) — Jonna Mannion is a longtime ‘Challenge’ veteran, who competed on five seasons of the flagship show between 2011 and 2015. Jonna made her triumphant return to the series for all three seasons of ‘The Challenge: All Stars’ in 2021 and 2022. She made the final in season 1 and won seasons 2 and 3. Then, she returned for ‘The Challenge: World Championship,’ but was eliminated after her partner was injured.

Luis Colon — Luis Colon comes to ‘The Challenge: USA’ from ‘The Amazing Race.’ He was on the show’s 34th season in 2022 with his wife. They came in third place.

Josh Martinez — Josh Martinez was on season 19 of ‘Big Brother’ and was the winner of the show. He has since competed on five seasons of MTV’s ‘The Challenge,’ but has yet to win or even make a final.

Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio — Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio is the winningest competitor in ‘The Challenge’ history. After competing on more than 20 seasons, he holds 7 titles.

Dusty Harris — Dusty Harris was on season 33 of ‘The Amazing Race’ in 2022. He competed with his best friend and they finished in third place. This will be his first time on ‘The Challenge.’

Faysal Shafaat — Faysal Shafaat came in 9th place on season 20 of ‘Big Brother.’ He then moved on to start competing on ‘The Challenge’ and has been on four seasons, making the final his first two times around.

Cory Wharton — Cory Wharton has been on nine seasons of ‘The Challenge.’ He has made it to the final four times, but has yet to secure a win.

Chris Underwood — Chris Underwood is the winner of season 38 of ‘Survivor.’ This will be his first time competing on ‘The Challenge.’

Desi Williams — Desi Williams comes to ‘The Challenge’ from ‘Survivor,’ where she was a contestant on the 35th season. She was one of the finalists who quit during season 1 of ‘The Challenge: USA.’

Cassidy Clark — Cassidy Clark is making her debut on ‘The Challenge’ during season 2 of ‘USA.’ She comes to the show from season 43 of ‘Survivor,’ where she finished in second place.

Ameerah Jones — Ameerah Jones was on season 24 of ‘Big Brother,’ and she was the third person evicted. This is her debut on ‘The Challenge.’
