There weren’t a lot of great things about 2020, but ‘Ted Lasso’ was one of the best things. The critically-acclaimed series was recently nominated for a whopping 20 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series. The show returns for season 2 starting July 23. Ted and the rest of the Richmond crew are back after that devastating loss in the season finale.

The award-winning series stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, and Nick Mohammed. Sarah Niles is set to join the cast this season as Sharon, a sports psychologist who has been brought in to work with AFC Richmond. ‘Ted Lasso’ season 2 will have 12 episodes. The season 2 premiere will be available on July 23. Episodes will be released weekly on Apple TV+. ‘Ted Lasso’ season 2 is here to bring joy in 2021, so get ready for laughs and tears.
