Survivor 43

Survivor 43 — ‘Survivor’ is back! The 43rd season of the CBS competition series premieres September 21, with 18 new castaways ready to scheme against one another to win the $1 million prize. Like the previous two seasons, ‘Survivor 43’ will last 26 days and begin with three starting tribes. The tribes names are Vesi, Baka, and Coco. Around halfway through the game, the remaining castaways will merge into one tribe and face the individual portion of the game.

Host Jeff Probst has confirmed that ‘Survivor 43’ won’t feature two major twists from the last two seasons. The hourglass twist and the Do or Die twist aren’t returning for the new season. Other twists, such as Shot in the Dark, earning your way into the merge, and risk/reward dilemmas, will continue to play out.

‘Survivor 43’ was filmed in Fiji in May 2022. The cast, which features an elevator salesman, a pet cremator, and a U.S. Paralympian, was revealed to the audience on August 31. Meet the 18 contestants competing in ‘Survivor 43’ in this gallery!
