To an army of ‘Law & Order: Special Victim Unit’ fans, Stephanie March will forever be known as Alexandra Cabot, the hard-nosed bespectacled Assistant District Attorney. The blonde actress appeared in the NBC hit drama off and on for more than 18 years and, in March 2020, she confessed to HollywoodLife that fans still stop her in the street even though she’s no longer a permanent cast member. ‘Yes, when I wear my glasses in particular,’ she said. ‘Somebody dubbed them the “glasses of justice” and it has stuck.’ She added, ‘I feel so lucky to have that amount of recognition. People who watch “Law & Order” are really wonderful fans. And I feel really buoyed… and encouraged by them.’ Asked if she’d ever return to the show that made her a household name and beloved recognizable face, Stephanie said, ‘There’s always that chance. I love the people in the show. I have a great relationship with them and I have a great track record… I always dip my toes in that one.’
