Especially in American movies, films have captured everything from World War I and II, to the Vietnam War, the American Revolution and so many more battles. Movies have been a way to understand and empathize with the experiences of these brave citizens who choose to put their lives on the line for their country.

Those movies have starred a number of incredible young actors who rose to fame and used their talents in movies about war and the toll that it takes.
