He was a boy, she was a girl. Can we make it anymore obvious? Since 2012, Shawn Ashmore, star of hit films ‘Mother’s Day’, ‘Devil’s Gate’, and the ‘X-Men’ franchise, as been blissfully married to his film executive wife Dana Renee Wasdin. The couple met on the set of the 201 drama ‘Frozen’, where she was an assistant director and he played Joe Lynch, a character you sure as hell won’t find in the Disney flick sharing the same name.
Shawn and Dana are frequently seen out and about at major Hollywood events, enjoying date nights at affairs like the 2019 world premiere of ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ in Los Angeles on June 4, seen here. And date nights are a good thing, now that they are proud parents of an adorable baby boy! The young couple welcomed their son, Olivier, in July 2017 and have been blissfully happy ever since – just look at his Instagram!
