Debuting in 1989, ‘Seinfeld’ chronicled the misadventures of Jerry Seinfeld, a stand-up comedian, and his maladjusted friends in New York City. Famously dubbed the “show about nothing,” the series garnered over 50 Emmy nominations and 15 Golden Globe nominations winning a handful of the coveted prizes. The series bolstered the platforms of its actors including Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards each of whom would go on to pursue various projects in comedy. The series also introduced audiences to a number of familiar and fresh faces. Previous Oscar winners, future Emmy heavyweights, and a few living legends of the screen and stage all made an appearance on the series. Each have gone on to grow in their filmography, but they all have this sitcom in common. Scroll through to see the actors, actresses, and celebrities who turned in guest roles throughout the series’ nine-year run before it hits Netflix in 2021.

While starring as Monica on the beloved series ‘Friends,’ Courteney made a stop on the ‘Seinfeld’ block as Meryl.  Courteney appeared in only one episode in 1994 entitled ‘The Wife.’ As Jerry’s girlfriend, Meryl tells a local laundromat that she is Jerry’s wife in order to get a discount. Suffice it to say, things get out of hand quickly.

This comedian made two appearances on the highly acclaimed series as Sally Weaver in episodes during the 1996 and 1998 seasons. Bob Odenkirk

With 15 Emmy nominations and two wins to his name, Bob Odenkirk has been a particular mainstay on the small screen. So, naturally, he would find his way to joining Jerry and the gang in one 1996 episode tilted ‘The Abstinence.’ Bob plays Ben, Elaine’s would-be doctor boyfriend who winds up parting from Elaine when abstinence begins to take a toll on her intelligence. Sounds wild, but this is ‘Seinfeld,’ after all.
