Savannah Guthrie — Savannah Guthrie started appearing in the national spotlight when she started working for NBC News in 2007. After she appeared on the ‘Today’ show as a substitute for Meredith Vieira and Ann Curry, it was confirmed on May 9, 2011 that she would be the new co-anchor of the 9 a.m. hour of the popular morning news show. She worked alongside Natalie Morales and Al Roker on the show, and eventually went on to replace Ann and become co-anchor with Matt Lauer for the earlier segment of ‘Today’. Since then, she has been one of the top news anchors in America and has covered numerous national topics. She has also hosted the popular annual holiday events, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Center tree lighting. Savannah got her start in broadcast journalism when she took on a job at KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri after graduating from the University of Arizona in 1993.
