Gold-Onwude is quite the sports superstar! She has made a successful career for herself as a g a full-time basketball analyst. She is considered a leader among women sportscasters, and her resume is pretty lengthy. It includes sideline reporting for the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers, as well as calling play-by-play for the WNBA’s New York Liberty. She has also worked for the likes of NBC Sports Bay Area, MSG, ESPN, and most recently, TNT.
And, oh yeah, did we forget to mention she’s a Stanford University graduate with a BA in communications and a master’s degree in sociology? While at Stanford, the 5’10” point guard was honored as the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year.
She, of course, plays just as hard as she works! When she is not sportscasting she is playing for the Nigerian national team.
