‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ — Photos — ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ was released in 2016. The cast included Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker. The film is part of the ‘Star Wars’ universe and takes place about two decades after the events in ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and just before the events in ‘A New Hope.’ The movie follows a group of unlikely heroes who band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star. One of those heroes is Jyn Erso, a young woman who is detained for her crimes against the Empire until she is freed by the Rebel Alliance. She teams up with Cassian Andor, a Rebel captain, to steal the plans to the Death Star. The film grossed over $1 billion worldwide during its run and earned Oscar nominations for Best Sound Mixing and Best Visual Effects.
