Rick Gonzalez currently plays Rene Ramirez/”Wild Dog” in The CW hit series Arrow, a role which he took on in 2016. His character on the show is considered a reckless vigilante who wears a hockey mask to hide his identity. His “Wild Dog” nickname derives from the red dog image on his shirt. Rene Ramirez, and the show in general, proved to be a fan-favorite when the show took home a total of 21 academy awards.
Prior to making it big on the set of ‘Arrow,’ Gonzalez has had roles in Thicker Than Blood (1998), Prince of Central Park (2000), The Rookie (2001), Roll Bounce (2005), and more.
In addition to his acting creds, Gonzalez has also made some moves in the music industry. Back in 2011, he released his mixtape The Invisible Man. He has even appeared on the song “Bully Rap” from Sean Price’s album Mic Tyson, which was released on October 30, 2012.
