Red Hot Chili Peppers — The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been one of the most beloved bands in rock for almost 40 years. Formed in California in 1983, founding members Flea and Anthony Kiedis have been staples in the group for its entire run. Other longtime members John Frusciante and Chad Smith are considered part of the classic lineup, but over the years the band has undergone some changes. The band has released 12 albums to date, but they seem to show no sign of slowing down. One of their earliest breakout records came in 1991 with the massively popular ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magick.’ The band’s fusions of hard rock, funk, punk and classic rock has earned them generations of fans. Tons of modern hard rockers, popstars, and more have cited RHCP as an influence for their decades worth of innovating rock.
