Rachel Brosnahan has captivated both the small and big screens as the bawdy and independent comedienne, Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and as Lois Lane in 2025’s Superman. She has also won an Emmy for a recurring role on House of Cards.
In case you weren’t aware, Rachel is the niece of the late fashion designer Kate Spade and had her first major role in the 2009 horror film The Unborn. She grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, where she was immersed in the Jewish community from a young age. Although she herself is not Jewish, she told The Chicago Tribune that early experience helped her embody Miriam, a proud Jewish woman, onscreen. Rachel is married to Broadway actor Jason Ralph.
