Queen Latifah is an iconic actress, singer, and producer. The New Jersey native – born Dana Eloise Evans on March 18, 1970 –  got her start in music with the release of her 1989 debut album ‘All Hail The Queen’. She released six more albums, with her most recent coming out in 2009. As for her acting career, Queen Latifah starred in the Fox sitcom ‘Living Single,’ before starring in the musical film ‘Chicago’ which earned her an Oscar nomination. She’s gone on to star in movies like ‘Taxi,’ ‘Hairspray,’ ‘Girls Trip,’ and shows like ‘Star’ and ‘Hollywood.’ Queen currently stars in the CBS reboot series ‘The Equalizer.’
