He came into this world as Terrence LeVarr Thornton, but the world will forever know him as Pusha T. As part of the hip hop duo Clipse with his brother No Malice, Pusha first got major recognition in the late 1990s and up to the early 2010s. In late 2010, as a solo artist, Pusha signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music imprint, starting a friendship and creative collaboration that would last for over a decade. Pusha released his first debut solo album, ‘Ny Name Is My Name,’ in Oct. 2013. In Dec. 2015, he released his second studio album, ‘King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude.’ Three years later, Pusha earned critical and commercial success with ‘Daytona.’
In 2018, Pusha made his greatest impact (so far) on pop culture by dropping “The Story of Adidon.” After a back-and-forth between Pusha and Drake – which saw Pusha accuse Drake of using a ghostwriter and Drake calling Pusha a fake drug dealer – Pusha dropped that diss track where he accused Drake of hiding a secret son from the world.
