The organization is widely known for providing many essential healthcare services including abortions, birth control, and other sexual health needs.

Many celebrities have shown their support for the organization over the years, including proud mom and model Chrissy Teigen. The organization was originally founded by Margaret Sanger, Fania Mindell, and Ethel Byrne, in 1916. Since then, the organization has become synonymous with reproductive rights and care in the United States.

The gala was hosted on Mar. 13, and was attended by many notable stars including singer Lily Allen, Padma Lakshmi, and actress Annabelle Dexter-Jones. Chrissy jetted off from Los Angeles to New York just to be there after she attended the ‘Vanity Fair’ Oscars after-party on Mar. 12.
