Pharrell is best known as a singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He first stepped into the spotlight when he started the record production duo The Neptunes with Chad Hugo in 1992. The duo produced hip hop and R&B music.

He then went on to release solo music and collaborations with other artists such as Robin Thicke and Daft Punk. He also became the lead vocalist of the band N*E*R*D, which he formed with Chad and childhood friend Shay Haley.

In addition to his work in music, Pharrell has taken on other entertainment projects, including becoming a coach on the singing competition show ‘The Voice’. He also started a non-profit organization called ‘From One Hand To AnOTHER’ (FOHTA) which helps provide educational resources to children in need.
