It seems as if Nick Bosa’s destiny was to play in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers defensive end is the son of former NFL player, John Bosa. His uncle is his father’s former Miami Dolphins teammate, Eric Kumerow. His brother is Joey Bosa, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2016. It seems that Nick was meant to play football, and in 2019, he joined the San Francisco 49ers team. Before that, he played for Ohio State.
With the Buckeyes, Nick was a defensive beast, racking up 29 tackles in his true freshman year. He recorded 34 as a sophomore in 2017, with 8.5 sacks. An injury in 2018 ended not just his football season but his career at Ohio State, as he withdrew from the university in order to avoid any further injuries that would jeopardize his NFL career. After joining the 49ers, he was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and helped his team make it to Super Bowl LIV. In 2022, he won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, and in 2024, he and his team earned a spot at Super Bowl LVIII.
