Nicolas Galitzine was cast as Prince Charming, opposite Camila Cabello’s Cinderella, in the 2021 reboot of the classic fairytale. Before the major musical role, Nicolas was relatively unknown, though had great parts in a series of television shows and films. Nicholas was scooped up by agents after they saw his stellar performance in Spring Awakening at the famed Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was his first acting role, as he said that he had major stage fright, but wanted to impress a girl he liked. Nicholas’ first film role was opposite the late Luke Perry in the 2015 film The Beat Beneath My Feet. He went on to star in the Netflix horror series Chambers, with Uma Thurman, and in the HBO film Share, which competed at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
In 2015, he was named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow, their annual feature which identifies young actors from across the UK who are emerging as rising talents.
