Nicholas is best known as an actor. He was born in New York and started acting in 2001 when he the television film, ‘Walter and Henry.’ He went on to appear in several different films and television series, including ‘Sky High,’ ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ the ‘Poltergeist’ remake, ‘Freaks of Nature,’ and ‘Zola.’

His bigget role as of 2021, is that of Gregory Hirsch on the HBO drama ‘Succession,’ which also stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, and Kieran Culkin. He was nominated for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category for his work in the series in 2020.
