Niall Horan is an Irish singer born on September 13, 1993. He got his huge break when he was just 16 years old after auditioning for the British talent competition series The X Factor. Although Niall didn’t make it through as a solo artist, he and four other young contestants — Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne — joined forces to become the boy band One Direction, which saw modern day Beatles-like success from 2010 through 2015. After the band broke up, Niall embarked on his solo career. He released his debut album, Flicker, in 2017, under Capitol Records and Neon Haze music. The album’s first single, “This Town,” was hit with fans and critics alike, and topped the UK Singles Chart at number 9.
