Long live Margaery Tyrell. Natalie Dormer brought the ‘Game of Thrones’ character to life on the HBO series, but this English actress is much more than that. A renowned talent of stage and screen, Natalie was born in Reading, England. She studied dance and drama in school. Shortly after she graduated, she landed her first film role, portraying Victoria in 2005’s ‘Casanova.’ She then landed the role of Anne Boleyn in the first two series of ‘The Tudors,’ which earned her rave reviews. In the late 2000s, she continued to act in TV series, films, and on stage. It was in 2012 that she gained worldwide fame as part of ‘GoT.’ With her star rising, she continued to act on stage and in films and series like ‘Rush,’ ‘Elementary,’ and two films in ‘The Hunger Game’ franchise. After her tenure on ‘GoT,’ she appeared in ‘Picnic on Hanging Rock,’ ‘Patient Zero,’ and in the theatrical production, ‘Venus In Fur.’ It was there that she would meet her future partner, David Oakes. The couple welcomed a child, in secret, in 2021.
