Matthew is best known as an actor. His most famous role was that of Chandler Bing on the popular sitcom ‘Friends’, which lasted from 1994 until 2004. He has also appeared in several other television shows and films over the years, including ‘Fools Rush In’, ‘Almost Heroes’, and ’17 Again’.
Matthew started out playing lawn tennis before he got into acting. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 15 to pursue a career in television and film and went on to book work as early as the late 1970s/early 1980s.
Although he was born in MA, he grew up in Canada and has become one of the most recognizable Canadians in the entertainment industry. In addition to acting, he has worked as a co-creator, executive producer and co-writer in the sitcom ‘Mr. Sunshine’ in 2011. He also portrayed Oscar Madison in ‘The Odd Couple’ from 2015 until 2017.
