Mark Wahlberg — PICS — Mark Wahlberg is an actor, producer, businessman, and former model and singer. Mark first became famous while modeling for brands like Calvin Klein underwear. He started his own group called Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch in the 1980s, that released the albums “Music for the People” and “You Gotta Believe”. He moved into acting in the 1990s, making his screen debut in “Renaissance Man” in 1993, and earning his first starring role in the thriller “Fear” in 1996, opposite Reese Witherspoon. Several years later, he received critical acclaim for his starring role as porn star Dirk Diggler in “Boogie Nights”. He moved into bigger budget action roles in movies like “Planet of the Apes”, “The Departed”, and the Transformers series. He’s been nominated for two Oscars: for Best Supporting Actor for “The Departed”, and as a producer for Best Picture nominee “The Fighter”. Mark also owns the Wahlburgers fast food chain with his family, and stars in a reality show about the restaurant.
