Born on Oct. 13, 1959, Marie Osmond is one of nine children and the only girl. Marie’s brothers gained fame in the 1970s as part of a boy band that rivaled the Jackson 5 in terms of teen adoration. Marie had her own musical career as a country artist and as part of a duo with her older sibling Donny. The brother and sister had a successful variety TV series in the 1970s called, fittingly, ‘Donny & Marie,’ which sparked their signature tune, ‘A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock ‘N’ Roll.’ Over the years Donny and Marie have continued performing together and even had an 11-year Las Vegas residency. Outside of her professional career, Marie (who married her first husband Steve Craig twice) had eight children – four girls and four boys. Sadly, her son Michael committed suicide in 2010 at the age of 18. In 2019 it was announced that Marie, who is also a NutriSystem spokesperson, will join ‘The Talk’ as a co-host, replacing actress Sara Gilbert.
