Maren Morris At The 2018 CMA Awards — Maren Morris is an American country singer and songwriter from Arlington, Texas. Early on in her career, Maren released three albums, then moved to Nashville and began writing songs for some of the biggest stars in country music, including Tim McGraw. She released her first EP in 2015, and after getting attention from record labels, she was signed to Columbia Nashville, who re-released the EP and promoted Maren’s first single, ‘My Church.’ In 2016, she released her debut album, ‘Hero.’ Keith Urban recognized her talent and invited her on tour with him that summer, too.

The record went onto earn Maren Grammy nominations, and she won the award for Best Country Solo Performance at the show in 2017. Maren skyrocketed to international fame, though, when she was featured on the pop song, ‘The Middle,’ with Zedd. in 2019, she released her sophomore album, Girl, and embarked on a world tour. She also joined an all-female group called The Highwomen with Brandi Carlile and Amanda Shires, who are set to start releasing music in 2019. Maren is married to fellow country singer, Ryan Hurd.
