Maksim Chmerkovskiy is an Ukrainian-American Latin–ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor. He is best known for his appearances on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

Peta Jane Murgatroyd is a New Zealand-born American professional Latin dancer. She is also best known for her appearances on the ever so popular series ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ She has won the show twice now and we absolutely stan!

The two lovebirds naturally crossed paths in the world of dancing and immediately hit it off. Maksim asked her out on a date and they had a candle-lit dinner at a fancy Los Angeles restaurant.

Today, they have been married and going strong for a year now. While they are head over heels in love, having a son, Shai, has proved to be quite a challenge for the new parents. Nonetheless, they make it work and make time for each other. In their leisure time they like to spend quality time together by grabbing lunch or watching a movie.
