Maddie Poppe: Photos Of The ‘Idol’ Winner — Maddie Poppe is a singer best known for winning ‘American Idol’ season 16. This was the first revival season of ‘American Idol’ with new judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Prior to auditioning for ‘Idol,’ Maddie tried out for ‘The Voice.’

During ‘American Idol,’ Maddie met and fell in love with fellow contestant Caleb Lee Hutchinson. Season 16 came down to the two of them, with Maddie becoming the winner. The couple announced their relationship during the season 16 finale. They have been together ever since. Maddie and Caleb will return to ‘Idol’ for the reunion episode on May 2, 2022.

Following her ‘Idol’ win, Maddie released her first studio album — titled ‘Whirlwind’ — in 2019. She joined Ingrid Michaelson on tour in 2019. The next year, Maddie released her holiday EP, ‘Christmas From Home.’ See more photos of Maddie from her time on ‘American Idol’ in our gallery now.
