Pavarotti was an Italian operatic tenor who was crowned the ‘king of the high C’s.’ He became a pop culture icon over the course of his long career. He sold over 100 million records. He died in 2007 from pancreatic cancer. His voice was truly one of a kind. The singer is the subject of the Ron Howard-directed documentary, which will be released in limited theaters on June 7. The documentary features rare interviews with his family and colleagues, never-before-seen footage, and state of the art Dolby Atmos sound.
