‘Love & Death’ Cast — ‘Love & Death’ is a brand-new Max Original limited series that tells the true story of Candy and Pat Montgomery and Betty and Allan Gore – two churchgoing couples enjoying their small-town Texas life… until an extramarital affair leads somebody to pick up an axe.

The show stars Elizabeth Olsen as Candy Montgomery, Jesse Plemons as Allan Gore, Lily Rabe as Betty Gore, Patrick Fugit as Pat Montgomery, Krysten Ritter as Sherry Cleckler, Tom Pelphrey as Don Crowder, Keir Gilchrist as Ron Adams, and Elizabeth Marvel as Jackie Ponder. ‘Love & Death’ will consist of 7 episodes.

The series comes just a year after Hulu also dramatized the shocking true story. Jessica Biel played Candy Montgomery alongside Melanie Lynskey as Betty Gore. ‘Love & Death’ will premiere on April 27 with the first 3 episodes, followed by one episode weekly.
