When Louis Tomlinson auditioned on ‘The X Factor’, he probably didn’t realize how much it would change his life. Simon Cowell matched him up with four other guys during the 2010 season, and thus, they became One Direction — one of the biggest, and most successful, boy bands in history. Their star power was unparalleled and the dudes had it good. But, like any band, they got tired and decided they needed a serious hiatus. That ‘hiatus’ has gone on for quite some time, with all five members releasing solo albums. Louis went for a traditional pop sound by releasing singles like ‘Miss You’, ‘Two of Us’, ‘Back to You’ (with Bebe Rexha), and ‘Just Hold On’ (with Steve Aoki). Louis announced in a message to fans on Twitter in 2019 that he would be moving away from pop and focusing on other sounds before releasing any more music. In July 2015, Louis became a father when he welcomed son Freddie Tomlinson with ex Briana Jungwirth.
