Boosie Badazz is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In November 2020 he was reportedly shot in the leg while paying respects to fellow rapper Mo3, who was killed in the same location just days prior. He was reportedly shot in Dallas and treated in the hospital for a gunshot wound below the knee.
Most recently, he came under fire for his comments about NBA star Dwyane Wade’s 12-year-old transgender daughter, Zaya. The rapper spoke out after the athlete confirmed that Zaya identifies as female in February 2020. “Dwyane Wade, you’ve gone too f–king far, bro,” Boosie said in an Instagram video.
