‘Legally Blonde’ was released on July 13, 2001. The movie became an instant hit and made over $141 million at the box office. Reese Witherspoon starred as the one and only Elle Woods, who goes to Harvard to get her man back. Through this journey, Elle realizes that she’s so much more than Warner’s girlfriend and takes Harvard by storm. By the end of the movie, Elle has become one of Harvard Law’s premier students and has left Warner far behind.

Reese starred alongside Selma Blair, Luke Wilson, Jennifer Coolidge, Matthew Davis, Victor Garber, Ali Larter, and more. A sequel was released in 2003 and followed Elle to Washington D.C. ‘Legally Blonde’ also went to Broadway.
