LE SSERAFIM — LE SSERAFIM exploded into the K-pop music scene after they released their debut EP, fearless, in May 2022. The band debuted as a sextet, but lost a member after she was accused of bullying. When they released their sophomore EP in Oct. 2022, they had five members: Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. The meaning behind the group’s name has a special meaning, as it’s an annagram ‘I’m Fearless’.

Their sophomore album sold double the amount of pre-ordered EPs than their debut EP, showing how much popularity the talented girl group gained in just a few months. ‘We heard the news while we were practicing together, and we were so surprised we screamed together,”‘Kazuha said in a press conference on Oct. 17, 2022, per ‘Teen Vogue’.

The hardworking musicians of LE SSERAFIM have been busy performing their music ever since May, such as when they opened the SEOUL FESTA 2022 on Aug. 10, 2022, as seen above.

It was the most special birthday I’ve had,’ Yunkin told ‘Rolling Stone’ of her time at the show. ‘I felt like I achieved what I wanted to achieve — performing, giving an acceptance speech in front of our fans, spending it with my members and our staff, going to an awards show for the first time in a while. I really cherished it.’
