Kodak Black in an orange shirt — Kodak Black, aka Bill K. Kapri, aka Dieuson Octave, is an American rapper who took the mumble rap scene by storm in 2015 with his debut song ‘Skrt’. Kodak’s song first got recognition when Drake posted a video of himself dancing to the song. ‘Skrt’ reached #10 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart in 2016, and #18 on the Heatseakers Albums chart. After a stint in jail, he released his debut album, ‘Painting Pictures’ in 2017. After another arrest in 2018, he released his second album, ‘Dying to Live’. However, his career actually started in 2009, when he joined the group Brutal Youngnz at just 12 years old. He released his first ever mixtape, called ‘Project Baby’, in 2013. Kodak was arrested for a third time in April 2019 on charges of gun and possessions while trying to enter the United States from Canada.
