On Songwriting — “I’m just so into songwriting. That’s why I do what I do, I love writing songs. My way into the whole industry was writing songs for other people first, and pitching songs, and doing commercials, and doing songs for movies, before I ever had a shot at being an artist. And now obviously it’s a lot of things, because also I want to be a great performer, I want to be a great vocalist, all of those things.”
