If there’s one celebrity who lives for the Met Gala, it’s Kim Kardashian. Each year, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star travels from her native, Calabasas, CA to the New York for the annual ball, which is widely considered the biggest fashion event of the year. Some of her most notable fashion moments have been on the Met Gala red carpet, including her 2013 look when she was pregnant with daughter North West. Kim, who walked the carpet with husband, Kanye West, wore a custom floral Givenchy gown, designed by friend Riccardo Tisci. Kim paired the look with matching gloves, which inspired countless memes that year. Another memorable Met Gala look was her silver Balmain dress she wore in 2016. Kim and Kanye called on their friend Olivier Rousteing, who pulled out all the stops to create the couple’s metallic looks for that year’s theme: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”.
